Bought an E-Bike recently? Have a few questions about how to treat your battery just right and meet safety regulations? We've got you covered with a small guide to keep you on top of things.

VEHICLE INFO THAT ISN'T JUST FOR NERDS

At the time of purchase,, you should receive the product name, brand. serial number, speed, and weight specs, approval under NSW safety government rules. 

Plus, you'll see this classy line displayed: "Before using this vehicle, check the applicable local laws relating to your intended use of the vehicle on roads, footpaths, shared paths, bicycle lanes, and bicycle paths. 

Just because it rides like lightning doesn't mean you can blaze across a footpath like Thor.

KEEP AN EYE ON THE BATTERY!

Before you plug in, remember your battery isn't invincible. Here's what every rider should know:

  • Use only connectible batteries and chargers.
  • Charge responsibly, no overnight marathons in the laundry.
  • Don't modify the battery setup unless you're chasing danger for sport.
  • If It starts smoking or sparking, call 000
  • Store it like it's fragile cargo, cool, dry, and far from curious pets or direct sunlight.

DISPOSING DOESN'T MEAN THROWING IN THE BIN!

Disposing of your vehicle for any component(s) in regular garbage? Big no no.

Do not dispose of your vehicle or components in household or kerbside garbage bins. When disposing, check the applicable local waste and disposal laws.

If your model allows battery removal, you'll get detailed instructions.
