Returns Policy - Freedom Machine Byron Bay
Freedom Machine Byron Bay does offer refunds or accept the return of goods that are faulty.
Freedom Machine does not accept the return of goods based on consumer choice or change of mind. Where a good is returned with specific permission (without use and in original packaging in perfect condition) and returned within 30 days there will be a 15% restocking fee.
Goods can be returned for store credit (and must be with original packing).
Discounted sale items are not returnable or refundable.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies the consumer guarantees provided for by statute including under the Australian Consumer Law.
Refunds are strictly limited to those available under clauses implied by statute.
The Customer must comply with directions from staff to facilitate a return.
Returned Products, under the Returns Policy must be returned in their original packaging with all accessories.
Where You are returning a Product to us because of Our failure to comply with a consumer guarantee, You must return the Product to us at Your cost unless the product cannot be returned, removed or transported without significant cost to You because of:
(a) the nature of Our failure to comply with the consumer guarantee, or
(b) the size or height, or method of attachment, of the Product.
Clothing & Helmets
Freedom Machine will refuse the return of any helmet 7 days after delivery, except in the instance of a warranty issue.
Helmet returns will not be accepted if the helmet has been worn, scratched or damaged in any way. If we believe that the shell of the helmet has been compromised in any way, we will not accept the return and you will not be refunded or given a store credit. Clothing returns will only be accepted if they are in perfect condition with tags.
Helmet exchanges are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and are not approved until assessed by a member of our Online Sales Team and deemed resalable. Clothing will also be assessed by our team and deemed resaleable, or not.
Freedom Machine recommends that if you are making a first-time helmet purchase, you visit us in-store to be measured and fitted correctly by a professional. If you do not have access to our store, try to find a local dealer, and try a helmet on there, we'd be happy to assist you over the phone.
Bikes
We will not accept returns on bikes if they are not in 100% perfect condition. If they are not in this condition, returned them with their original packaging, and pricing attached and as you received the bike, we will not accept it for a return. The only exception to this is if you are able to go in-store with the item for review and will be done on a discretionary basis. Bikes must not be ridden, or built if they are sent in the box to you.
Freight charges incurred in returning goods to Freedom Machine will be at the customer's expense, with the exception of faulty items, items returned under warranty, and items received as a result of our error. In these cases, a prepaid Australia Post postage label will be supplied.
Should we deem a returned item to not be resalable, we reserve the right to charge return postage costs.
EXCHANGE/RETURN TIME FRAME
Freedom Machine asks that you allow up to 5 business days for us to process your exchange for store credit once your return has been received in-store. A restocking fee of up to 15% applies to returned items.

(Time periods for items being returned to us can vary depending on your location, and the shipping method you choose. Please allow us extra time to process your refund/exchange in this case).
Warranties
All warranties are with the manufacturer and not Freedom Machine. Freedom Machine may facilitate the process of warranty. Freedom Machine reserves the right to charge for any costs, time, or service the handing of a warranty or claim. Any workshop services are not covered but the manufacturer warranty are to be charged to the customer.
